As part of our 2022 fundraising for “local nourishment” projects, our club is hosting our
11th Annual “LUNAFEST.”
A virtual film festival on
October 8 AND 9, "LUNAFEST 2022"
showing a medley of eight short films by and about women.

Dear Friends,
As you may know, the Berkeley/North Bay and Beyond club of ZONTA INTERNATIONAL provides financial and hands-on support to many women and girls locally and internationally. Our Bay Area projects provide much needed services to our local community: scholarships for local girls to participate in science camps, music camps, softball teams, and literacy programs; scholarships for women with interests in aeronautics, business, and public affairs; support to young women leaving the foster care system, older women facing Alzheimer’s disease, and displaced women and their children seeking a new start.
In short, we support and nourish our community in many tangible ways.

Why do we have the LUNAFEST each year?
We do it to help raise funds to support our special projects that make life better for women and girls.
This year we are again supporting and raising funds for:
H.E.A.T. Watch, a foundation fighting human trafficking
We are also supporting Women's Daytime Drop-in Center, empowering homeless women and children for a brighter future.
We also raise funds to provide scholarships!
Two local SCHOLARSHIPS awarded to women striving to improve the lives of women:
Young Women in Public Affairs Award
Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship
ZONTA INTERNATIONAL Scholarships advancing the status of women.
