16 Days of Activism November 25 to December 10

November 25 was established by a United Nations resolution to be the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Zonta International uses this day to start our 16 Days of Activism. From November 25 to December 10 we work to bring attention to the need to end violence against women. Each day for 16 days we will point out areas where we need to improve the lives of women and girls. We will work with the campaign Zonta Says No to Violence Against Women and Orange the World as we strive to “Build a Better World for Women and Girls.” #16daysofactivism #orangetheworld  #zontasaysno #zontainternational #zontaempowers #endchildmarriage#buildabetterworldforwomenandgirls

Zonta International envisions a world in which women’s rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential. In such a world, women have access to all resources and are represented in decision-making positions on an equal basis with men. In such a world, no woman lives in fear of violence.

Each year for 16 days from November 25th to December 10th Zonta International promotes activism for women's issues. We are proud to be a part of this international awareness campaign in our stand to no violence against women.
